Addendum I – StackAdvisor

Software Review and Discovery Platform

This Addendum is incorporated into and governed by the Gaviso Terms of Use and Service Agreement.

This Addendum governs the use of StackAdvisor, a SaaS and software discovery platform operated by Gaviso Digital Marketing, LLC (“Gaviso”). StackAdvisor offers searchable, categorized content to help users evaluate and compare digital tools, applications, and technology stacks. This Addendum is hereby incorporated into the Master Terms of Use and Service Agreement.

 

1. Platform Overview

1.1 Purpose. StackAdvisor provides curated and AI-enhanced reviews, feature comparisons, pricing insights, and use case evaluations for publicly available SaaS tools and platforms. Its primary audience includes business owners, marketers, freelancers, and technical professionals.

1.2 Content Scope. The platform may include:

  • Original written reviews, charts, and summaries
  • Side-by-side feature comparisons
  • Pricing tables (when publicly available or submitted)
  • User-submitted opinions, star ratings, or commentary
  • Embedded affiliate links where applicable

1.3 AI Integration. StackAdvisor may utilize AI tools to assist in data collection, summarization, or automated recommendations. Users are advised to independently verify information before making purchasing decisions.

 

2. Permitted Use

2.1 Personal and Commercial Research. Users may access StackAdvisor for their own research or to assist clients with software discovery. Redistribution of platform content (including scraping or reselling of data) is prohibited.

2.2 Attribution Required. If quoting StackAdvisor content externally (e.g. in blogs, newsletters, or client deliverables), proper attribution to the platform with a visible link must be provided.

2.3 No Competitive Benchmarking. You may not use StackAdvisor to mine structured data for use in a competing platform, benchmarking product strategies, or developing derivative SaaS evaluation tools.

 

3. Vendor and Affiliate Submissions

3.1 Platform Inclusion. SaaS vendors may submit their product for inclusion. Gaviso reserves editorial discretion to determine whether and how a product appears.

3.2 Affiliate Disclosure. Some links may be monetized through affiliate partnerships. Such relationships do not influence the rating or recommendation process unless explicitly disclosed.

3.3 Sponsored Placement. Vendors may request featured placement or sponsored review campaigns under separate terms, subject to transparency disclosures and editorial integrity standards.

 

4. Intellectual Property and Content Rights

4.1 Original Content. All StackAdvisor articles, comparisons, templates, and visual assets are the property of Gaviso and may not be copied, embedded, or redistributed without written permission.

4.2 User Contributions. If users contribute reviews, feedback, or testimonials, they grant Gaviso a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to publish, modify, or display such content on the platform or in promotional materials.

4.3 Trademarks and Logos. All product names, company logos, and trademarks appearing on the platform belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply affiliation or endorsement unless explicitly stated.

 

5. Limitations and Disclaimers

5.1 No Warranty of Accuracy. While Gaviso endeavors to maintain accurate and up-to-date software information, platform data may contain errors, omissions, or outdated references. You acknowledge that you use StackAdvisor at your own risk and should verify critical details independently.

5.2 As-Is Basis. StackAdvisor is provided “as is” for informational purposes. Gaviso makes no guarantees of completeness, uptime, or commercial outcomes based on recommendations.

5.3 Limitation of Liability. Gaviso’s liability for use of StackAdvisor is strictly limited to direct damages not exceeding $100 USD. Gaviso shall not be liable for lost revenue, incorrect software purchases, failed integrations, or reputational harm based on the platform’s content.

5.4 Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold Gaviso harmless against any third-party claims resulting from your use or reliance on StackAdvisor content, including legal disputes between vendors or inaccurate representations.
